Rafting in Nepal

~Some of the world's best white water~

Whitewater Rafting in Nepal

From tallest mountains in the world the melting snow and small streams come rushing down to produce some of the worlds best white water rivers.   This is the place we call home.

Nepal is famous for whitewater.   And why not?   Nepal's biggest draw is its mountains.  Our beloved Himalayas, highest in the world.   8 out of 10 of the world's highest mountains are in Nepal, with of course Mt. Everest as the highest.  All this fit into a tiny country that ranges from the top of the world, Mt Everest, to the dusty low plains of the south.   This rugged terrain carved out by our Himalayas has created a paradise for all adventurers.   For us whitewater lovers, these rivers couldn't have been made any better.  For decades foreigners and Nepalis have worked together to create one of the most enthusiastic whitewater communities in the world.  Read more about it our blog post called, a paddler's paradise.

Safety

Safety is our biggest concern as an adventure sports company.  We take each and every precaution possible for your safety.   Our guides are all certified with international certificates as well as the nationally required river guiding permit.  Most of our gear is bought internationally to fit with the strict safety standards of the west, and whatever equipment we purchase in Nepal stands up to those standards.  That said please understand that rafting is an adventure sport and will always carry a certain level of risk.  We respect that risk by our extensive training and always being prepared.  We do all of the preparations and worry so you don't have to.  We are proud to say, we have a perfect safety record and strive daily to keep it that way!

R2 Anyone?

Over the years we love the joy of helping fellow whitewater rafting guides come enjoy the water as they love to do it.    Sometimes you just don't want to be a client in the raft.   We've helped quite a few people run some great R2 runs in Nepal and would love to help you also if you are looking for it.   We helped support the first ever R2 on the Karnali in 2011 - by two amazing friends from the the US.   In 2014 we aided the second R2 run on the Karnali!  Interested please email us - we can get it done for you!
